Paul Oz
Paul Oz is a passionate British portrait artist who uses thick oil paint to achieve maximum 3D impact. Paul is best known for travelling the world live painting with Formula One, but he’s also done work for Team Sky on the Tour of Britain, Chelsea FC to commemorate their 2017 title success, and Lamborghini for the introduction of the Urus. Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday, Star Trek’s 50th anniversary, and a picture of Bruno Mars handed to him in Las Vegas to commemorate his 24k Magic World Tour are among the most notable commissions.
Within F1, Paul has painted live for Scuderia Ferrari VIPs in Monaco, Mercedes AMG Petronas in Barcelona, and Jenson Button, including a live painting for McLaren in Abu Dhabi at his final race to commemorate his career. To commemorate 20 years, Paul also created work for Lewis Hamilton, Sir Jackie Stewart, Pirelli, and the families of both Ayrton Senna and James Hunt. ’80’s Kid’ in London, The Art of Star Wars, and sell-out concerts in Abu Dhabi, Mexico City, and Singapore F1 weeks are just a few of the recent shows. Every Paddock Club on the F1 calendar is showing it.
A note from the Gallery Owner: Paul is, without doubt, the number one and only official Formula 1 artist in the world.. While he is still using the same pallet knife to produce all of his current work as he did when he first started, this hasn’t stopped Paul’s work attracting art collectors and celebrities around the world.
